Nominees must be individuals or non-profit groups from the Dayton Region, or individuals or non-profit groups who have spent a significant amount of time in the Dayton Region. The Judging Committee will make final selections based on how the nominee’s accomplishments have made an enduring impact on our local community, our region, the nation and/or the world. The Dayton Region is defined as Montgomery County and any county that shares a common boundary with Montgomery County (Greene, Clark, Miami, Preble, Darke, Butler and Warren counties).
The nomination form and narrative, along with any accompanying materials must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org NOTE: Nominations will be considered active for three years from the date of submission after which a new form must be submitted.
If the nominee is selected, the nominator agrees to assist and work with Wright-Dunbar Inc. in contacting the nominee, or family representative (if nominee is deceased). This assistance shall include help in obtaining photos, and other information to provide the appropriate recognition of the nominee at the Walk of Fame luncheon.
Nominators of those nominees selected by the judges for inclusion in the Dayton Region Walk of Fame will be notified on or about May 1, 2020. If your nominee was not selected, the nomination will be considered for the next 2 years.
Prior to emailing the form to the above email address, the nominators shall save their nomination form as a Word or PDF file titled “Nominee’s Name WOF Nomination form” and any supplemental attachment information shall be saved as a Word or PDF file titled “Nominee’s Name WOF Attachments”.
